I'm a writer, non-fiction & poetry, & a graduate of The Piper School for Creative Writing at Arizona State University with an MFA in Creative Writing - Poetry. I also have nearly enough graduate credits in English Lit to qualify for doctoral candidacy (which is what's required before you can officially sign up for dissertation hours & write the paper that earns you the PhD). This mostly means that I'm an avid reader, a long-winded writer with opinions on most every topic, and a pain in the ass at times. My undergraduate degree was a BA in Philosophy with a History Minor. I really love the Liberal Arts, Beaux-Arts, & Belles Lettres, the finer things in life, as the saying goes. However, I also love to indulge in just about everything one could have an appetite for--music (anything but Country & bad Disco), movies, television (especially good news, sci-fi, & thrillers/mysteries, basically anything that challenges you to think), movies (I love indie & really deep, twisted plots), books (poetry mostly, but great fiction both new & old with the occasional non-fiction piece thrown in if it's good; currently I'm reading Malcolm Gladwell's "The Tipping Point"). I'm into painting, making art clay & chain maille jewelry, just about anything that holds my interest & allows me to channel my creative energy--you get the picture.
