Robot Chicken is a stop motion animated series created and executive produced by Seth Green and Matthew Senreich airing on Cartoon Network's late night programming block Adult Swim. Seth Green does most of the voices in addition to several guest celebrities. The show's name comes from a dish Seth and Matt used to order from a Chinese restaurant. Each 12-minute show is basically a sketch comedy parodying pop culture and events through a mixed media presentation of toys, action figures, and claymation by cutting to quick sketches. It first premiered in 2005 and is still going strong in 2011 on its fifth season. The creators buy the toys from eBay or from private collectors. Robot Chicken takes those cherished memories you had as a child and perverts them into something amazing and is nothing short of genius. Even when it devolves into potty humor and fart jokes, it's still smartly done. They can get away with more since they're using toys, and the Star Wars trilogy is essential.
