I'm 33 years old currently working on a script that redefines the zombie genre. My whole life I have always been a movie, tv, comic book geek... especially science fiction. They are kind of my "Matrix" of escaping the world of the real. Hell I even named my daughter after a movie character. Sydney after Sidney Prescot from Scream. My favorite character archetype are kick ass female characters and the bad guy wants to be a good guy type. You name the movie and I have seen it. I've owned around 4000 dvds at one point and am currently switching to blu-ray. My favorite tv show of all time is Buffy the Vampire Slayer followed closely by Deadwood and Justified. I love Tarantino...Pulp fiction being my top movie. I believe well written and engaging characters can save even the spottiest of scripts.
