Well I'm a 30 year old white male, living in Va. I'm a father of one beautiful little boy, and am pursuing a career in Massage Therapy and Physical Training. Exercise is so important to my mental well being, I try to hit the gym daily. I'll be licensed sometime in the beginning of 2012, and I can't wait to get out there a start working in my field. Outside of school and work I like video games and playing the guitar, both the bass and the 6 string. My two main guitars are sort of my salute to the Beatles as I have a Hofner violin bass and a Rickenbacker 330, just like the guitars Lennon and McCartney played on the Ed Sullivan Show. I want to start skydiving soon, it's always been an interest of mine. The feeling of free fall gets my motor running but until I skydive the most free fall I have felt is what I have felt on roller coasters. I consider education to be a valuable and essential part of my life, and on top of enriching my life I also find learning fun. Needless to say, I watch a lot of discovery and history channel. Once my son gets a little older I'll have him watching the discovery kids channel, he's already a smart little cookie so I'm hoping he likes to learn as much as I do. I can't wait to get back to my hometown of Costa Mesa California, I vow to die there, it's where I grew up and all my memories from living there inspire deep nostalgia in me. You gotta love a location. Where you can go surfing in the am and pack up the same day to go snowboarding in the pm, and Costa Mesa provides just that as well as surrounding areas, but I find Costa Mesa to be the most laid back and resourceful of the cities around. Once I am certified to do massage I intend to take my trade out to the west coast, not only are the people out there more health conscious and more likely to request massage, the people living there generally have higher incomes, so I can charge more for my services. Assuming all goes well my next goal will be to add to the extensive amount of medical training I received while getting certified, specifically more nursing education. With that education I'll either pursue a career in nursing or as physical therapist, a nurse or even as a doctor if I decide to really apply myself. My past work experience has been a melange of different types of jobs, lots of sales experience, accounting, barista for coffee shops, construction, service industry jobs, delivery positions and even skycapping at the airport. I also have a serve safe certificate from my brief stint at culinary arts school, so I could work in the restaraunt industry as a safety inspector or even as a chef, but the restaraunt industry is just too crazy for me.
