I really thought this was going to be stupid, but it was actually pretty good. There were some funny moments, and they weren't cheezy. I could see this spawning a sequel.

This was okay, a good way to kill some time. Started out great by showing Kate in her undies, but slowly deteriorated after that. The mystery was average, the cinematography was so-so, and the characters were boring. The only joy was that Kate and Tom were nice to watch in their scenes together. Overall, if you skip this film, you're not missing much, other than Kate in her undies, of course. :)

I liked this movie, even though the plot was lame. Watching the contrast between Kirk and Picard was a joy.

Good movie. Strong commentary on the justice system. There are no heroes in this film. Not sure any of the characters actually triumph. Sure to spark some conversations.

Formulaic, but very sweet. I enjoyed it.

I rented this thinking it was an animated adaption of the novel. It's not, it's a prequel to a video game, I think, based on the novel. Should be good for gamers to watch, anyone else might want to just skip it. Watched the trailer for the game on the DVD, and the animation in the game is fantastic. Not so in the film. I am curious about playing the game now, though.

A Syfy Saturday movie filmed in 3 weeks. Yep, 3 weeks. And it shows.

Good movie. Took me by surprise, didn't think I was going to like it at first, but once I began to understand what was happening, I enjoyed it.

I really like this movie more than I thought I would. I don't know if I'd categorize it as a Rom Com, maybe more of a romantic drama. Either way, it was a joy to watch. Check it out.

I just rewatched this film and was less impressed with it this time around. Too many dramatic pauses. I did still enjoy it though.

Very good sci-fi film that keeps you guessing for most of the film, all the while giving Sam Rockwell the ability to do some of his best work creating a "character" that you can't help but care for and a sympathize with.

A short film from the director of Moon, that appears on the DVD as an extra. Interesting in that it is "dedicated to dads, everywhere."

An artsy film with mediocre acting, and exhausting dialogue. Ebert loved it, but it darn near put me to sleep.

Pretty good sci-fi flick. Reminded me of Eden Log and Sphere and Even Horizon all at the same time. Pretty creative and refreshing. Kind of guessed at the ending, but not the twist. Good watch.

Snore. Couldn't help comparing this movie to The Untouchables, and I liked that movie better. I usually don't sympathize with criminals, and I couldn't find a way to do so here, even with Depp playing Dillinger. I was bored through the whole movie, and it was a long movie.

Arguably the weakest of the DC Animation movies so far. Pretty sure we've seen this story before on the JL series, or something similar. And as always, it comes down to Batman to save the day, which is becoming rather cliche. Still, it's a much better offering than Marvel's release this month: Planet Hulk.
