A brilliant film. It has aged, as I'm sure the first question would concern, as gracefully as Harrison Ford- take that as you will. But that aside the film excels, better than many of today's contemporaries, in creating a full realised, fully believable world. One which meshes the two great super powers (america+China) into a neo-classical futuristic world, with so many different art styles, wardrobe choices, and overall diversity it really is a wonder how the film stays enmeshed. Yet driven by solid acting from all, and greatly helped by the initial premise, which is fascinating to observe(and therefore I will not spoil), and aided in no small part by a massive budget. The film grips from start to finish, and does leave you, with just the right balance of intrigue and satisfaction, story wise, to satiate the appetites of any person who watches this film. Which if you are a fan of Sci-fi or thrillers, you absolutely must.
