"When it's cold outside, show the world the warmth of your smile." "Got the radio on, my old bluejeans, and I'm wearin my heart on my sleeve. Feelin lucky today, got the sunshine. Can you tell me what more do I need?" I'm a grad student, almost finished with a Masters Degree in English. My ambition is to write fiction, but I will probably need a "real job" first... :) I have the most awesome husband. He's a rocket scientist. And he's hot. And he's super sweet. I think I win. I'm just joking, I'm happy for the rest of you too! :) Matt and I now live in California. It's a big change, leaving my family and friends behind, on the other side of the country in Mississippi. That's ok, though, because I love being a wife and waking up beside my best friend every day! Matt is my soul mate, and I am so excited about our new and adventurous life together!! "California's full of riches. Sleeping all night beneath the desert stars with a dream in my eye and a prayer in my heart!" (ok, so I did modify that quote some, but the excitement behind it still applies!). To my friends and family -- You know I love you. Call me. We'll sort out life. I'm 5'2", strawberry blonde hair, blue eyes. I like warm, fuzzy blankets. I'm majoring in English because I like literature, and I want to write. I'm about to sound like a total geek but... Weird wordy words are fun to me. I look up things in the dictionary, and when one definition leads to others, I look them up, too. I like getting a long list of novels to read for my English classes, going to the bookstore, browsing through the fiction, poetry, and textbook sections, and carrying my new reading material away in a crisp Barnes & Noble plastic sack. I sometimes speak in my sleep. It might be a whole sentence, or just a random word. I'm saying whatever my line is in the dream. Sometimes this wakes me up, and sometimes it doesn't. The home where I grew up is in the boonies with a few cows and some woods full of every kind of wild animal. I love to hear the coyotes howl. I think there's something poetically lonely and peaceful about my family's big pond with one solitary white duck. I love both dogs and cats (and ANY kind of cute, furry animal). If you managed to read all the way to the bottom of my profile without losing interest or just getting bored, then you should message me right away. You're obviously my kind of person.
