I have a terrible sense of humor, which I think came from my father. I have an incredible family. An incredibly funny family. I have the best husband in the world. I met him on a magical night (his birthday) just over a year ago. We married just over 5 months after we met. I'm a pretty happy woman. I am a Jesus follower. I try to practice love and compassion. I believe that every small word of encouragement or act of kindness has the potential to do great things. I believe in action, not passive ignorance. I am a strong believer in non-violence...non-violent words, actions, and beliefs. Well, non-violence with the exception of hockey, of course - GO BLUES!! I am finishing my last semester (hopefully!) at the University of Illinois (in Springfield). I should have a bachelor's in chemistry, and hopefully a job by the end of the year. I'm a nerdy girl that loves school. I love my puppy Mr. Rutherford. Our kitties Megan and Tasha would be a lot more fun if they didn't puke all over the house and kick litter all over the bathroom floor...but I love them too. Mr. R. just thinks that he's a superstar.
