I've been reading it for a while. It's pretty good. Very authentic as I'm reading with an Irish accent in my head.

Last book I'm reading for English this year... and all of high school lol.

I read this book years ago and I loved it! Quickly became a Frank McCourt fan.

Frank is one of the greatest authors on out time <3

this was the only book i read through school and loved!

I could not get beyond Chapter 5, and had to re-read it each time. I finally got to halfway, and just couldn't get any further! Sorry - it must be me! Lol

One of my all time favorites, I've probably read this book 15 times now. I love it.

I love this book for many reason. Whenever I am feeling down or frustrated about problems in my life, I turn to this story & think of the hardships this family went through. It makes me even more thankful for what I do have & extremely thankful my 2 daughters are healthy. Frank McCourt's mother lost 3 of her children & I can not even begin to imagine how horrible it would be to have to face that level of loss.

It's taken me awhile to finish, but it's a pretty interesting story...!

I started to read this book again... the first time i read it, i like it... this time, i'm loving it!

Just started reading this thanks to @gabbygail's recommendation and I'm hooked already. Much less dark in tone than I expected.

It seems I'm the only person ever reading this. It won a Pulitzer, people. Geez.

Only reading it bc of the office. And bc I'm Irish.

Read it after seeing the movie. Loved the book!

I'm enjoying it so far, but I find it distracting how edition doesn't have quotations for dialogue.... Its just all mixed in and disorienting.
