not a huge fan of the illustration in this one, but i just finished Hush and Jim Lee puts Brian Bolland to shame.

Actually read issue #1 of The New 52 print run but GetGlue doesn't have a general Batman or New 52 check-in :P The Killing Joke is good though ;)

Another good one-shot story that relates the Joker's origin story. It is a must read for anyone who calls himself or herself a Batman fan.

This is very, very dark...this is to comics what Seven was to Movies...well done...but you just dont feel quite right after

Read it again, cover to cover this time. I personally believe this is the pinnacle of comic book writing and artwork combined. I will constantly look back to this story for inspiration.

Characters should speak only as necessary. Dialogue here is always amazing, and the art is even better. Not perfect. Not even the best Joker story. But it shows how comics can be great with little effort.

Looks like a great read -love Batman! Always have.
