I can see the similarities between this and Hunger Games, but they are both good.

No-brainer, but the novel crushes the film (and the film's fantastic).

Back to the Battle. I'd love to crush this, but it's a huge novel.

I want to read some more, but probably won't make it far tonight.

The BR fans who have only seen the movie kind of irritate me, because whenever they talk about it, they completely miss the point of the story.

Must be the 4th or 5th time reading it. Absolutely love it! Bit messed up, but hey, who isn't?! ;) :P

Read about a third of the book, good stuff. I like how the main characters like shuya, shinji & shogo in their own ways oppose the government

Almost at the end, some of the characters here are pretty messed up.

The morbidity is insane! I like it though. Very entertaining. :)

Seen the movie, read the manga, now the novel

Saw the film, liked it; got the book on a whim, though I've heard it differs significantly.

Seeing how similar this is to Hunger Games.....so far more violent for sure but good
