Finally getting around to read this series in order. Then on to the Whitest Day.

Re-reading this before I have to get back to essays.

Only Geoff Johns can lure me back to comics. Sinestro corps war was amazing and so far so is this.

Great ending, and I'll definitely have to read it again soon.

I think my favorite part of the series was the end of issue six, when everyone started getting deputized with each of the different rings. What I didn't like was the quick ending. Everything is figured out and Nekron is defeated in the last issue. I'm guessing Deadman had a side story that he gradually learned what to do, but since it wasn't in the main title, it felt rushed. And then in typical comic book fashion. It's rase-rase and well... not to further spoil it. You know (or will know) what happens next. Overall I liked it, even though I didn't know many of the characters.

Okay so far. Only on issue #3. As I said in my GL:BN check-in. My knowledge of the DC Universe is limited. A lot of people I don't know in this series.

Was reading this in between loading screens for GT5, the art work is pretty good and the story seems interesting but there's just something about comics that I can't get into. It's a rarity when I find one I love. If this one stays in the living room I might eventually slog through the whole thing but I doubt I'll invest any real time on it.

Giving it a go as I have heard good things.

Not enjoying this at all, thinking of dropping it. I have little use for this amount of gore in a straightforward superhero book.
