One of the most heartbreaking things I've ever read. Not ashamed to admit I broke down near the end of the book. And that's AFTER I was warned how sad it was.. then my Girlfriend read it, and was a mess after she got done with it.

Soooo beautiful... I can really relate, growing up in a household where God was a huge and intimidating presence and disappointment was ladled out as often as the home-cooked meals.

4th time reading this! My favorite graphic novel!

Absolutely loved this. I'd heard good things for years, but never had the desire to read it before. Now was the perfect time. Read all 580 pages tonight.

This 600+ page graphic novel goes so quickly. It touches on many different style aspect of the graphic genre. A warming coming of age tale.
