Really liking this but it is hard reading about Nazi Germany & I fear tears are to come.

Em 2008 tomei conhecimento da existencia desse livro e desejei le-lo, quatro anos se passaram e enquanto prucurava " Persuasão" na biblioteca me deparei com este, li a contracapa e descobri que o livro era narrado pela Morte, achei isso interessantissimo enrolei cinco dias e finalmente iniciei a leitura, foi impossível parar e a única coisa que me arrependo é não ter o lido antes!!!!

I finished it. I cried. It was a beautiful book, but the bits near the end are so heartbreaking. I guess I should've known it was going to be sad given that it was set in Germany during WWII. At least it had a happy-ish ending. It's definitely worth reading, just be ready to shed some tears.

I've been reading this, but I haven't been checking in to it regularly. It is an excellent book. Definitely worth a read.
