His father has received a promotion and the family must move from their home to a new house far far away, where there is no one to play with and nothing to do. Just finished this book and it was really moving. I wish more things like this were to happen in the world today and that we all could see people like children do. Not judging people by race, religion or sexuality. I would recommend this book to everyone and anyone to read. Its a real eye opener.
