Speeding through this book while on vacation. Say what you will about John Grisham's mindless novels- I love them!

Enjoying the book....the constant Italian followed by the English translation wears a bit thin. I'm new to Grisham but am enjoying his writing style.

This is one of Grisham's worst books. No wonder I stopped reading it a long time ago. Giving it another go where I left off but it's still just as slow and bad. :( It's all about the stuff the main character eats for lunch and the words he learn everyday, and how grand Bologna is. It feels more like a travel guide than a suspense thriller. Funny, how you notice once in a while the scene shifts to the CIA office to remind readers the whole point why the main character was dropped off in Italy. Pitiful.

Just finished. New favorite Grisham novel!
