If you are slogging through the first part of this tale & debating the merits of setting it aside, consider hanging in there, it's definitely gotten better.

Very slow starting story, imho. Seems like it may finally have caught some traction. Prefer Saving Faith & others I've read to this one, so far. :-)

Had on the shelf a while but picked up and read quickly after finishing another of his. I like how he has several characters that run independently in several of his novels- Oliver Stone, secret service agents Sean and Michelle, and the mysterious Shaw. Great characters

I am reading this again to get myself familiar with the characters. This way I can read and finish the series.
