Just started reading CARRIE. Of Stephen King's work, I have only read THE SHINING before. Decided I'm going to read his first four novels back-to-back. Here we go!

This is the book that made me lust after all his other work. As an overweight, glasses wearing, friendless loser I connected with Carrie on such a personal level. The way the novel is written made me aware that King was an author to look closer at. And twenty years later no one has made a bigger impact on me.

up to page 96, this hard back also contains the Tommyknockers which i've tried to read several times but can never get into for some reason

on page 40, switched the beer for tea, doing a little bedtime reading :)

reading a few more pages while I wait in line...for my own goddamn bathroom lol

much prefer the book to the movie, i've read it a million times but i'm starting again :)

My parents say they didnt name me after her, but my married last name ended up being "White" lol to top it off, my husbands name is Jason, and my sons initials are S.A.W. LOL

Great book, I still need to watch the movie
