Finished 14 & began 15. Interesting this evolution Guevara has gone through, calling himself a "bloodthirsty rebel". I am quite unsure that I would never be "bloodthirsty". Interesting, anyway...

Finishing chapter 14 before I get in bed. It's taken me too long getting back to this book. I need to figure out a better strategy for working in my personal reading time during the day (or night).

Ary Otero I just got to the part where they shot him. Hate him or love him even Felix had feelings for him. I don't believe in communist because of the suffering I have seen my family go through but I did believe in his want for all equality of all of his Latin Brothers and Sisters.

Began chapter 8, "Finding North". Anderson, I've decided, enjoys making the reader suffer through a range of emotions during the course of a reading. I had such a swelling of compassion for Ernesto during the last paragraph of the 1st part of ch. 8 that it was painfully abrupt when it ended. Would love to throttle him for that.
