Pendergast is one of my favorite fiction detectives!

Reading this now. Liking it lots So far.

Been devouring Agent Pendergast novels for the last few months, and sad knowing that this is the last book (at the moment)

Just picked this up at the library...

Just starting but reading other reviews....I'm kinda skeptical now.....

Hmmm. Slow start. Hope it thing move faster later in the book.

Just finished, a little slow to get cooking...middling payoff as it is setting up a trilogy

I think the ending was a red herring.

I'm reading about his dead wife on the iPad & read this, also about his wife, sort of. Great books.

I really don't like cliffhangers in books! Arrrgggh... still, loved it as always. I have such a crush on Pendergast!

Starting out good. Sad to have to deal with other things instead of reading this straight through.

Getglue, give Lincoln Child some credit for this book, too, please. I felt it fitting to start this book AFTER the power came back on. Reading by flashlight was fun though.

Great Pendergast book by my favorite authors. I don't love the ending, though. Tired of so many cliffhangers!

Finally got a hold of this latest book in the Agent Pendergast series! Been waiting for this one ever since I finished reading Feverdream.

I could see if she was an innocent pawn but she lied repeatedly. I can see her sainted until he started uncovering her lies!! Seriously ... how could he trust anything she ever said? And is this a trilogy? I'll prolly read the next one just to see if they finally kill her off. But you don't see any development in his character. He just comes across unbelievable and bordering on crazy. Soul mates don't base their relationships on a mountain of lies and deceit. And seriously ... if there is going to be some "understandable" explanation which is supposed to justify all of the lies ... I'm gonna wonder what world the authors live in LOL I see they already lay groundwork for an explanation ... they cut off her hand ... showing her fear for her life. Even if I thought someone would kill me I ...

Halfway thru the audiobook. It's ok so far. I look forward to seeing where they take Pendergast.

The latest Pendergast novel.... weak, weak and weaker.. Too bad, I really liked the character when this first started. It's almost like reading a really sophisticated "Mad-Libs" novel.

So excited to be reading the next Special Agent Aloysius Pendergast novel from my favorite authors!

hard to believe so few people are checking into this book

This book is too short! All of my favs should be at least 1000 pages! Too good.
