As good as the show was when I watched it and am thankful that it brought me into the series I can't help but feel it is campy when I watch it now. Still fun though BUT the books are epic!

It's funny I have only read 4 of the books working on a 5th, and have read them all out of order, but am still able to keep up with the story, guess it helps that I used to watch the show. :0)

Go by the handle grlinheadphones on most if not all social media sites. @deana_givens_cox out of order O.O dang. The show is not cannon to the books and the events are all out of order in the show. Though I loved watching it before I got started on the books.

Finally finished with the 11 books in the series that were out when I started the Sword of Truth series. Nevermind The Omen Machine for now. Sheesh.

As it is after I finish Confessor and then OM I'll have to start on something else... like finish Dresden Files. ;) *no spoilers plz thx*

Jen Miller ;-) I went straight through all 11 books without knowing another was due out. Then "The Omen Machine" came out TWO days before I finished book 11.
At that point, I felt I'd spent enough time in Richard & Kahlan's world for a while. I'm sure I'll return to the series. I just needed a break.
Hmm, Dresden Files sounds like a good idea. I liked the short-lived show.... ;-)
