New York Times' Michiko Kakutani's description of the book being like "Catcher In the Rye" has been right so far. I think it's this kid's digressions that make him similar to Holden's.

Because time is not like space. This book is awesome! It offers a great deal of insight to the perspective of someone with Autism. Parts of the book crack me up.
