Gozde Sahin I know what you mean... Personally, I think that the books were better when we used to feel the fear and suspense in them. Back when Anita was not so invincible, she used to be more real in my eyes. And the ardeur kind of ended that side of her for me... Now she can solve every problem by sex and I just miss the times where she was able to be terrified of a vampire or creature. I also miss the simplicity of the love triangle with Richard and Jean-Claude and the way it slowly developed book by book. And I agree that Richard was definitely a better man when he arrived in the third book, he used to be quite interesting. But then so did the entire series...
Also, I can't help but agree that there have been some progress in the last book that I've read, plot wise, it felt more like the first books. However, I think that after introducing this many characters and having Anita make these wrong choices, there is very little possibility that one day we get that great story back again. :( -
Michelle Wilson We can but hope lol i just don't get the mixed Richard he can't be this tough strong leader character and also be the pathetic needy character it just don't mix well. Then Jean Claude went from she can only sleep with the small selection of ppl he agreed with then anybody it doesn't matter lol. I will see if next books get any better then decide :). -
Gozde Sahin Jean-Claude became soo pussy-whipped, honestly, I used to be in love with his character... You're right, though, we can but wait and see...
