love it is not because my cat looks like Dewey. it is because the writer also brings up cats can heal people

This is a good read if you're into libraries and cats (all me!), and it's the adult version of the kids' book for which I just checked in.

I'm gonna read more of this and I will NOT CRY this time! haha ;'p

I love the alternating chapters between Dewey and small town Spencer. Really set up the feeling of the rural Midwest and how this little cat fit into it.

Loved this book! I can't wait to read the sequel Dewey's nine lives

Just finished, such a touching book & I really recommend u read it!

A neat story made bad by poor editing and/or bad (ghost?)writing.

Such a sweet cat and a great librarian. I can see why Meryl Streep wanted to play her.

I've been saving this book to read for a long time. Loving it!
