Why don't they base the show off the books more? It's so difficult to read these and not imagine Michael c hall as dexter and they would make great episodes :)

Book 5ofthe Dexter series and this Dexter is so different from the Showtime version, I can barely relate the two anymore! Lovin' it!

The writing is dramatic, a bit purple, and cliche but it's still a guilty pleasure.

Just finished, Although I looked forward to reading this one the most, because of the cannibalistic theme, it was painful to read about Dexter's internal conflict with wanting to be more human. The last three chapters made up for it mostly, and the part with him and the girl in the trailer was awkwardly amusing at least... Dexter on ecstasy lol

Makes me wish I lived in Miami..

This one starts out slow... Still entertaining
