All finished with the first book in this series. I enjoyed it and am going to read the second one in the series next.

A cute book. Hardly a thriller, but generally likeable characters. The end of the book was largely a disappointment. I won't give spoilers, but some of the characters behaved senselessly and umm, out of alignment, as it were. Not worth the $15.

Just finished it...it took me 1 day exactly to read...can't wait to get the sequel! Very very good, gory book!

Sarajane Hawkins You need to keep reading. Its a three part book. Dying to live last rights and dying to live life sentence...this are the other two...I read all of them within a week. I thought the same thing about the book until my Seester pointed out it was a trilogy. What is the armaggedon series about? I don't think I've read that. I would also recommend Z.A. Rest's plague of the dead. He wrote it in his twenties and he died when he was 28 while in the midst of writing the sequel. They are going to be releasing his second book in the near future. Also check out johnathan bayberry's trilogy ghost road blues, bad moon rising and dead mans song...amazing amazing amazing!

Omg!! I didn't think a writer could come up with something new in a zombie book that I haven't read, but this writer did!!! Awesome!

Just starting it...it's written by a Bram-Stoker award winning author.

For the first time a zombie story has really shaken and scared me, on page 175 and 176.

not liking it... first 60 some odd pages, but it is setting up hopefully... going way to fast... hopefully it settles down a bit....

Taticat @dannymcguffin ty, ty, ty! And I'm glad to hear he didn't bring in religious crap (forgive me if that was offensive); he worried me a few times in DTL that he was going to go off on some religion jag. That's a sure way to turn me off when I'm reading just for the social collapse and zombie butt kicking. XD

Danny McGuffin Lol.. I found some good eBooks with my NOOK.. Bonnie Dee has a couple After the End and Dead Country are intriguing.. she is a romance writer and you can see it in her character interactions, but storyline wise pretty solid.. I pretty much have read the major players and books and can see where the drop off's are... but the whole zombie universe is intriguing. Another trilogy that I am kinda iffy on but have kind of enjoyed is the planet of the dead series... there is another trilogy that I have enjoyed is the Fighting to Survive Series... check them out when you have time... all in all basically the same story but the character development is what I really look for...
