Teacher mentioned this book in class the other day and in some colleges it's mandatory for all incoming freshman to read. I'm curious.

Turned me into a vegetarian. All I used to eat was meat and this book made it very easy to give up

it is effectively ruining my relationship with food. SIGHH.

Today I learned that "free-range" just means they have access to outside, but nothing about how much or how often. They're often drugged and beakless.

Today I learned that "Free-Range" eggs just mean that the animal has access to outdoors, although it doesn't matter how much or often. They are often de-beaked and drugged since they aren't in cages.

Really interesting so far. Factory farming is disgusting and why DON'T we eat dogs when there are so many of them?

Great book. Not a vegetarian book but rather let's u know exactly what is in your did and if u choose to eat meat what the animals endure before hitting your plate wrapped in Saran wrap!
