The movie fallows very close to the book. So far in the future but it's almost what happening now.

Read is fun kids!

Guy Montag is a Firefighter

I have read this twice and have learned a lot

Amazing and mind twisting

Halfway through part one. The part where Montag is realizing the emptiness of his marriage. Loving Bradbury's style do far, but almost depressed about how true this book is becoming.

"Fahrenheit 451: temperatura a la que el papel de libros se enciende y arde"

finished ! Not quite what I thought was about. Confusing sometimes but it was likable. What avid reader can't like a book about books and knowledge. :-)

Giving this a shot on @PhillyD recommendation.

Great book so far....hard to believe this was written in 1953!

I just finished this, what an excellent book! The Coda was very interesting as well.

Period 3 is halfway through. :) been a while since I've read this.

Finished tonight. What a great (but frightening) story! All 3 of us read if but we can't talk about it much until after the kiddo does his paper for school. I can't wait to discuse it as a family.

My son picked this as an independent study book in English. My husband he naturally heard of it but we had never read it so we all desired to do it.

I opted for some thing short to follow Game of Thrones.

A girl commented on reading while we discussed this. She said that she thought reading was boring. I hope this book will give her a new perspective.

Just read finished this. Loved it. First time reading it or any Bradbury. Time for some catching up...

Excelente libro. Uno de queda pensando bastante cuando uno lee sobre una realidad ficticia y futurista. El parecido con la realidad es mera coincidencia! XD

Although it is much celebrated and fathered several tropes, fahrenheit 451 is a boring and lackluster view of a dystopia we are rocketing toward anyway.
