Going retro and finally reading a book that my older sister loved when we were growing up.

oh this is such a great classic. just reread the entire series of the flowers in the attic, absolutely stunning. i love the old school (real) vc andrews stuff.

Almost done, disturbing book but couldn't put it down. Just woke up from a nightmare... thanks to the book.

I've read it so many times I could probably recite it by heart. I own probably around 47 VCA books (and I know that's barley a dent in how many there are. lol) it's a das obsession. XD

Just an FYI, these 5 books and "My Sweet Audrina", which was and still is the only book that's not a series, are the only books that V. C. Andrews wrote before she died in 1986. After her death she did have some manuscripts & the family hired a ghostwriter who has been writing her books ever since. I truly think this is why this series of the Dollanganger family has remained her most popular series. I've read a few if the other series & although good, they just don't compare to the essence of this series.

Such a shame! The Mother seemed like such a "normal" loving Mom in the beginning.

I am a V.C. Andrews Fan once I start reading I can't stop got thru a few but just started this one .
