Finished. The ending was so satisfying. I'm shocked.

Does anyone create more fully realized characters with backstories deeper than real people?

Just finished this book. A real page turner. I loved it. Franzen did it again.

For a book group at the library. It starts a little slow. Hope it gets better.

Loved this compelling story, told, over time, by each of the book's protagonists. Makes you take a good look at your own behavior & how it effects your loved ones.

Loved the Corrections, and so far I can see why this was so hyped.

Finished reading "Freedom" by Jonathan Franzen. 562 pages. I feel like a big man.

Even better than the corrections. I cracked it open this morning and can't put it down.

Technically an audiobook. Love the way he writes, but I still find most of the characters appalling!
