Very interesting concept. I have to admit that I was a little disappointed with it though.

Finished this book! It was really a fun read. My 15 year old actually started reading it after asking me several times what I was laughing at. Unread aloud for a while and he liked the book. HE just finished it also and it sparked his desire to read again! He is now reading the hunger games trilogy! Yay Logan!!

Bought this today. As a teenager in the 90s I thought it looked looked like a good read. Will start it after i'm finished with my current read Serena.

Teenagers today probably won't get all of the 90s references that make this book funny

Reading this book right now. It does a good job of blending the 90s with modern times. It's especially fun to read if you grew up in the 90s.

Awesome book, incorporated the 90s in such a fun way along with contemporary stuff. Great trip back in time.

This is a story about two teenagers named Josh and Emma. They have been friends and neighbors for their whole life until one day about 6 months prior to the week that this story takes place. The time is 1996 when the Internet is just starting and AOL is the big thing. Josh brings over a disc to Emma to use for her new computer to get to the net with free hours on it. As josh and Emma talk they seem awkward. The book takes the story from each of their point of view on different chapters. In other words they take turns telling the book. After Emma installs the disc and logs on a website they never heard of(Facebook) that shows the future. She gets Josh and shows him and he thinks it's a prank someone pulled but as they both realize that what they do in the present affects even thinking or saying their thoughts aloud the future thru the Facebook.
              Think of the but...

I really loved Jay Asher's Thirteen Reasons Why and started this book the other night. So far it's pretty good. It does remind me of the 1996 mindset. Why would everyone share every intimate detail of their life with the whole world? In 96 if you'd told people about the way society operated today they never would have believed you. Needless to say, loving this book!

This book is so awful, which is too bad, because the premise is interesting. The authors packed it so full of references to 1996 that it felt like they were name dropping. And even worse, most of the references were inaccurate. People weren't burning CDs and using cell phones in 1996.
