Hitchens' writing is lyrical and poetic... amazing... loving it so far!

How I spent Good Friday.

Started re-reading this for the second time this morning.

I definitely think differently about Gandhi now...

Another book that is going to take me two weeks to read. It's not even long. I did take a two week break where I read two other books to completion:).

Now that I've learned we have no free will (thanks Dr. Sam Harris) back to why any and every god is bad. Coincidentally "Free Will" was dedicated to Hitch.

Finally opening this book up. In memory of a great mind.

Just starting, its a bit of a slow go but hopefully worth it. Was an ipulse ebook purchase.

Listened to the audio version and wonderful to hear his charismatic pronunciation and emphasis, though at times difficult to distinguish some of his blurted commentary. Overall a powerful and inspiring series of arguments against religion, belief in divine beings and the church. Long overdue.

Trying to get through what amounts to a polemic screed for the sake of a balanced view. Who disses "It's a Wonderful Life?" to refute religion?

Just finished this book, thought I ought to after the sad death of Hitch. Regardless of your POV, it's fascinating. I listened to the audiobook, and whilst it's great to hear Hitch read it, he's does have the tendancy to mumble to the end of some sentences and rush though others. I have a feeling most people who read this, and Dawkins's work, are already in the same camp, preaching to the choir if you must :), but I would love to know the reaction from someone from a very religious background.

Just finished the audiobook for a second time. Do yourself and your intellect a favor and read this book.

So apparently he made a most persuasive argument for atheism. Let's see how he stacks up against Bertrand Russell.
