This is my first time reading Dickens. I feel all scholarly! Lol

A very good story, but it's daunting that this is one of Dickens SHORTEST novels.

I haven't read a nice classic in a while...

Chapter 8. The emotion of being an outsider in this strange macabre world of Miss Havisham, and being derided for being an outsider, is so powerful.

I've loved this book since elementary!

Actually, listening to the audio version read by Tom Baker. Knowing what I do about his life story, he's the ideal person to read it.

A magnificent and beautifully written novel by one of the greates authors of all time. Charles Dickens is a brilliant writer, and I adore a lot of his work especially this. It has to be the best classic book and school related book that I have ever read. The story is very interesting, the characters are very engaged, and the turn of events is splendid. I just couldn't put this book down. I have the urge to read it again!

Chapter 5. I've started re-reading one of my favourite books from one of my favourite authors. Convenient and quick to download on the Kindle app.

Spec strange that I hated this book when I read it in high school. Now, (dare I say it?) I'm actually considering other Dickens too...

100 pages in...didn't see that coming! This book is getting interesting.

About 15 years ago, I decided I was poorly read. This was one of about 100 books I tackled. GREAT EXPECTATIONS was not at all what I expected. Recommended!
