if i had to put it in a reductive blurb-y faux descriptive catch-all type phrase, i might call this 'pomo PKD'

Ch. 12 & 13 were pretty hardbreaking; at Ch. 17 it becomes officially mind-blowing. still loving this.

Read 4 chapters, but the structure is mind-numbing. Essentially is like being trapped in the head of a really dull, self-obsessed scientist. Not particularly enjoyable and after a quick flick through this looks like the structure of a fair portion of the book.
Not one for me, but may be enjoyable if you're a big fan of fictional theoretical physics (based on the fact that there were a large number of terms that I only understood on a linguistic basis!)

Laura Billinge Yeah me too, had high hopes but 4 chapters of what is essentially a monologue is too much. We get it, time-space is complicated and your dad didn't love you enough - now go shoot your future self already!
              Fortunately I have a back-up book with me :)

Interesting meta-novel about time travel and the nature of time. Unevenly written.

Now this is a weird choice. A cross between Hitch Hikers, Dr Who & My Robot Girlfriend. Well something like that.
