Just reading a bit today... I'm really not well (ironically, on May 12th!), so I can't really hold open the book for long without lots of pain, lol. [May 12th is international M.E. and Fibromyalgia awareness day; also Florence Nightingale's birthday. I have both of these in curable diseases, amongst other disabilities.]

'In Cold Blood' is my main source for my (second ever) Criminology assignment at uni! (2000 word essay on a crime, the motivation, and a criminological theory explaining the crime. First-hand offender accounts are crucial for evidence, and I'm told this novel will be ideal.)

I've seen 'Capote' twice this week, and have read one–third of the novel in two days, as well as having kept up with my usual study-load and assignments!

It's great that I am able to research from bed, as I am seriously ill; an added bonus is that I truly enjoy 'In Cold Blood', and all my uni subjects!! I just love to learn, I guess.

Finished In Cold Blood last week. Writing a thesis paper on it. I watched 'Capote' and it depressed the hell out of me.

Excelente novela, se los recomiendo mucho.

I love this book. Capote is brilliant. The first time I read it I was 10 & too young.. I liked ICB, but, I didn't love it the way I do now. Like a bf you haven't talked to in yrs instead of picking up a phone you can pick it up, turn the page, & hang on his every word. It's like your own murder dictionary deep in your brain. You keep going back to it for the rest of your life.

Just starting, cant say anything at this moment, just trusting the author

End. Now time to check out the film.

Saw the movie a few ago. Now I reading the book

I loved this book, but my high school students didn't care for it. This may be one of the many books you appreciate once you're older.

Just finished it today. It's as amazing as everybody says, and I can't help but think how much trouble Capote probably had to write it. But it was worth it.

Best book so far...but truly frightening since its based I'm a true story.
