I just finished reading this. I think every black girl/woman should read this book, it's very insightful!! It's free on Amazon kindle!

The things this woman was willing to do to obtain her freedom included living in a coffin-sized crawl space for 7 years. Really inspiring!

This was a great read, one of the few books I finished reading in a while.

Finished this book this morning. How amazing the feeling of freedom would be after everything slaves went through but what a slap in the face for that freedom to have to be bought by someone else after working so long to earn it on your own. :-(

Awesome book! Just finished it and it was a beautiful ending. What more could a person ask for than to be free? =')
