It was $0.25 on the android market today. So, I thought... "hmm why not?"

Unfortunately, this book effects how I order food now. I love his writing style though, i've read all the non-fiction stuff

Just finished it. Decent read.

Good profile of the industry, though Bourdain's narration was a bit grating at times.

Started it last night. Not a bad read so far. Looking forward to the rest.

Bourdain calls Emeril Ewok-like in the first 3 pages. I think I'll enjoy this book.

Great book if you are at all interested in the behind the scenes world of the food services industry. Also great insight as to how Bourdain came to be who he is today!

Awesome book!! it'll tell you some worst case and best case scenarios for kitchen work. this is the stuff dreams (and nightmares) are made of.
