I really had no clue what to expect - the back really does not tell you anything about the story. I really enjoyed the chapters from Little Bee's point of view and found that she was a great storyteller. Cleave slowly and expertly released the plot with each chapter, but with the lack of description on the back, I was expecting more of a twist at the end.

I finally finished this. The book was beautifully written and I quoted and reread several lines; however, the ending was horrible and haunting. It was hard for me to get through.
