Almost done reading this for the second time. First round was 15 years ago! It's amazing how one's perception of things change over time. What I'm getting out of Lolita now is vastly different than what I got out of it the first time I read it.

Can't believe I hadn't read this until now. Brilliant lyrical wordplay, a mesmerising disturbing story, and Humbert Humbert, an anti hero for all the impotency and perversion of the times

only on chapter 8 and it's already my favorite. so beautifully written.
