plinzy41 me either -- but then again, it appears that 'nothing' is off limits to anyone anymore and what a sad state of affairs that puts us in. AND whoever took it will probably plead 'alcohol or drugs or frat/sorority PRANK and never understand the pain they caused. I THINK it was Winston Churchill who said that 'Youth is wasted on the Young' ... oh how true that is ... if we only knew 5% of what we know now and had 1% of the energy we had then -- IT MIGHT BE A WHOLE DIFFERENT WORLD or at least I'd LIKE to hope that it would be. At least then we could have made our parents proud -- Thanks Mom&Dad--you did the very best you could -- and I did too(at least most of the time -- but I SO WISH I HAD TRIED HARDER ALL OF THE TIME, especially now that I have grandchildren. So now I make sure to read them books like The LORAX(and all of Dr. Seuss' amazing books) and then we talk about what they all are telling us. plinzy41 I AM THINKING OF READING THE REVIEWS BEFORE I DECIDE WHETHER TO SEE IT OR NOT. At first glance I thought I wouldn't go but when my middle daughter asked me to take her(she is turning 45 in May tee hee) how could I refuse. It was her second favorite book AFTER the SNEETCHES. She and her older sister were taking 'drama' classes when they were 5&7 (I PRAYED they would LEAVE THEIR DRAMA in the classroom/studio --didn't quite work out that way ) :) and they did some of Dr. Seuss' stories as little plays and it was adorable. They did the Lorax and the Sneetches and for Christmas, of course they did the Grinch -- of course I cried thru all 3 performances (actually i sobbed thru 3 but cried thru all TWELVE OF THE SHOWS--STAGE MOTHER?? absolutely NOT!! that is when I decided that I'd NEVER MAKE IT ON BROADWAY IF THEY BY SOME MIRACLE DID - I did hear that early reviews say that the movie follows the book so you might want to give it a chance -- could be fun.
