About 300 pages away from completion. And good thing too, my third WHEEL OF TIME box set, including books 7-9 just arrived in the mail!

Back to it.. and my iPod is fully charged. YUS!

About halfway through this behemoth and I must say, it's one of the best of the series by far. Probably because we spend the least amount of time with the female characters as possible. ;)

Only 350 pages left :/

Really glad I gave this series another shot. Incredibly annoying female characters and superfluous descriptions of locations notwithstanding, I'd venture to say that the complexity of the characters, clever allusions to our own world and richness of story puts THE WHEEL OF TIME over LORD OF THE RINGS as the better fantasy series in my book.
