My favouriter character so far is Charlotte. It may sound weird but I love the fact that she seems quite mature and graceful, and yet so naive.

And it's funny how this book get you to root for Lydia, for the British diplomats, or (most of the time) for the 'bad guy'! :)

It's my first time reading something written by Ken Follet, I'm excited :)

Love this one. This is a great book, one of the first I read . This is where I learned to have a great appreciation of the WWII era was thru Ken's books.
