After visiting Savannah, had to reread...forgot how much I like this book.

Should've just moved to Savannah, instead I tried to play the responsible son...

Trying to finish but it's getting boring

Started reading this before I left 81611, finishing it now. Knew I shoulda moved to the South, d'oh.

...found a hardcover copy of this for only $1 @ Beers' Books today...the story is evidence that truth is *much* stranger than fiction!

Sometimes, it's a little too descriptive for my taste, but that could be because I've already seen the movie so I know all of these descriptions already.

Took a couple of chapters but it's starting to pick up. Makes the train ride so much better.

finely written; a compelling narrative. descriptive through both dialogue and prose. humor moves the story forward. i would love to see savannah

Can't stop reading it! Been awhile since I've been so excited to come home to read.

Excellent book. Makes me want to take a tour of all the historic sites mentioned. I hear the book was as good as the movie...who saw it and how was it?
