I don't usually read rom-com-vampire novels, but I'm glad I picked it up after my girlfriend's enthusiasm.

Erika Christoferson Callahan I am not much on rom-com fantasy novels either. Some come across as simple porn with fangs. How is the content in this series? Is the action part of the story worth the brief foray into the bedroom? I like how Charlaine Harris and Jim Butcher (Wizard Dresden series) incorporate a love story into their novels without beating you over the head with it. -
Marco Pietersen Well, it's not porn with fangs (like the term :)) but it's definatl spicy from time to time. The sex is restricted to around 1 explicit and 1 less explicit scene. But it fits with the open and direct writing style. Frost just as easily explains how some vamp is tortured with his own legs as she writes about how police was called because of the noise in the bedroom.
I think the vampire-writers tend to feel they have to compensate for the puritan Twilight-series :) -
