A great book. One of my standards for greatness is put-downability. I started at 11:45, and at 1:30ish, I crashed out, having finished. That said, I actually didn't think this was as good as Gladwell's other works. If you want to raise a perfect child, read this book.

Better than the Tipping Point, because I think it matters more. (It should go without saying that it's better than Blink.) There are factors in our life over which we have control, and there's luck, and then there are all those things which we don't have control over, but aren't really a factor of luck either.

Tons of insights in this book. Not quite as of a mind-grenade book as the Tipping point, but definitely worth it.

This is a great book about how people make it. It's not all hard work or luck. Very good read.

It's what you'd expect from Gladwell -- incredibly great writing that helps you see the familiar in a new way.

On the societal level, interesting insights into how public education could be improved; on the personal level, great ideas to give your kids a leg up and to explain why you (or I) didn't do so well.

This book crushed my long belief that I was a genius. It appears I was just the oldest in my class.

I thought this was going to be an incredible book--and granted, there are some brilliant ideas--but it is SO repetitive, boring, negative.

This book is full of rational, yet often ignored concepts. In the vein of other books which shake up the status-quo of our perceptions, this work is enlightening and in many ways, life changing.
