What a writer. I was astonished to see solid state drives mentioned in this 1973 novel in the way we now use them, It still stands up even though it was written almost 40 years ago! wow and has been a great wee tide over for the release of Prometheus!

And through. Great read. First intended to read the sequels as well, but as they are not pure Clarke and very different, I think I'll pass and instead let this work stand on its own.

Quite fascinating, half way through now, let's see where it goes - Clarke is not really known for his happy endings... :-)

sorprendente, ingeniosa, cautívante y fascinante, y lo mejor de todo es la maestría que nos demuestra el señor Arthur manteniendo al lector pegado a las páginas del libro con una historia donde en realidad no ocurre nada, no hay acción. Claro que también nos puede parecer al mirar el cielo de una noche cualquiera que no hay acción en ese aparentemente estático lienzo pintado de estrellas..
