Nothing like some heavy reading and deep character study to relax the mind but despite the character machinations, this is one of my favorite plays from Shakespeare. Some monologues are so perfect that they deserve to be quoted in their entirety. And Richard is a flawed but perfect villain. The references to time and its nature are also profound. A lot of meat to unearth in here, a good break from his fluffier comedies.
