Rebecca Black I'm almost done. So beautiful, but sad and depressing. Still not sure how I feel about the dad. -
Shelly Brosnan Much like his influences, he's definitely not known for "feel good" novels. No Country for Old Men, All Tne Pretty Horses, and the epic Blood Meridian deal more with raw, himan reaction/responses to evil, death and much of the horrible in life. But, he does it in such a beautiful, emotional way to draw the reader deep into the story and the characters. -
Rebecca Black Totally cried when the dad died. And then the last paragraph.. "maps and mazes. Of a thing which could not be put back. Not be made right again" This is a book I will read again.

-
Hensley @CjtheGr8 it's a quick must read for any parent. You'd like it. -
Cj Silva-Hensley I don't need to read about a charred headless baby, I cry enough as it is. -
Hensley @CjtheGr8 that's just one sentence. Most of the book is about the parent and the son.
