I loved this book and the movie!!

Just finished this last night. Great book, touching story.

Saw the movie...keep meaning to read the book...books are usually way better than the movies....this was such a sad story...

Just started reading this book yesterday and so far, I like it. I never knew that the French were involved in the holocaust this way.

Such a sad story set during the French roundup of Jews during the Holocaust. I didn't know this was about that until I began reading.

Great read. Very sad topic!

What an amazing novel. If it hadn't been for the fact I'm sick and needed some sleep, I would have finished this whole book in one sitting. I have always been intrigued by anything related to the Holocaust, and this novel was an amazing find. Wonderful story telling, characters that grab you from the start. Wonderful sweet Sarah, caring vulnerable confused Julia, it just all flowed wonderfully together. A little predictable at parts, it really doesn't take much to figure out the connections. A wonderful story of history and human spirit. I really REALLY recommend this one! And I see the movie is streaming instant on Netflix ... may have to see that version in the next few days.

I might have teared up a little at the end of Sarah's story while I was on the train. This book is certainly heart wrenchingly beautiful.

There's nothing better than reading on a cold rainy/snowy afternoon with a cup of hot tea.

gonna start reading in about 10 while I fall asleep! Quiet stoked as this is my favorite genre in my favorite historical period!

Well told story about the Vel d'Hiv. Once I started reading, I couldn't put it down until I finished it.

Read one third of this book just tonight. Cannot stop reading! I also like to read the French words out loud to see how bad I have gotten at French.

Intense and super sad! So good tho...might just finish it right now!

Only around 300 pages. I should be done in no time!
