The young raja has stood, even walked! But most importantly, Colin has planted a rose brought to him by gardener Ben Weatherstaff. The connection has been made & magic is afoot!

Ben Weatherstaff acts oddly upon finding the kiddos in the secret garden...very oddly.

Read 3 chapters today. Nurse was really cracking me up! Mary & Colin had a who-can-be-more-obnoxious battle lol

Oh, my! Martha, Mrs. Medlock, Dr. Craven, & the nurse have all discovered the blossoming friendship of Mary & Colin. Colin has expressed his intent of "keeping" Mary & all obey per his threats. Mary meets Captain & Soot & discusses Colin's visiting the secret garden with Dickon as the robin builds his nest within its walls. Martha had us all in stitches exclaiming how Mary had "bewitched" Colin X^D

Mary has now met her cousin, Colin, & has matured greatly in the last few chapters. That's the power of caring for something- it becomes second nature to care, period.

Oh, my~ Mr. Craven is nothing like we thought he would be... Tomorrow, we meet Colin.

Before the Boys went to bed: Mary has met Dickon & shown him the secret garden. He has agreed to help her! We quite like Dickon :) The Boys are dreaming of making their own gardens come spring...

The robin has helped Mary find the door and she has entered the secret garden :). Boys want to hear what happens next...

Began reading this classic to the Boys. A little funny to hear their disgust for how Mary is ignored by her parents & what a horror she is to everyone! :)
